S/S DULEEK PENDANT – a simple yet elegant sterling silver pendant inspired by the cross at Duleek.
Crafted by Aidan Breen who specializes in one-off items of gold & silver hollowware and jewellery. Dublin native and pioneer of the Renaissance of Celtic jewellery, Aidan was trained in his craft by a traditional seven-year apprenticeship as a “chaser” beginning at age 14 at M.H.Gill and Son, Church Furnishers in Dublin.

This piece has been Irish Hallmarked in Dublin Castle
It is designed after an interlaced detail from the South Cross in Duleek Co Meath.
It shows four trinity knots cleverly intertwined to form a equal cross.
The cross is on the site of the monastic site founded by St Cianan a disciple of St Patrick in the 5th Century
